The first negative point that was brought up was that some
of the lip syncing was a bit off. We will fix this by going back and adjusting
the timings of the clips so the lip-syncing is in time and we will also be
re-filming some out of time shots.
The next thing that was picked up on was that the extreme
close up of the mouth lip syncing the words "do it up now" was
blurry. We will fit this by re-filming this shot.
Another thing that was picked up on was that some shots
repeat. The reason for this is because they're part of a flashback sequence.
However we will add some visual effects to distinguish this.
The fourth thing that was brought up was that the people who
viewed our music video is that some thought that the TV should actually turn
on. We will experiment with this and see how it looks.
The next thing that was pointed out to us was that the
camera was shaky in some shots. We will rectify this by re-filming the shots
that are shaky.
The sixth thing that was pointed out was that some shots are
out of focus. We will rectify this by re-filming the shots that are out of
focus.
The next thing that was pointed out was that some shots are
too long. We will fix this by filming some additional shots and re-filming the
shots that are too long.
Another thing that was brought up was that the SRS shot was
weird. There is no SRS in our music video but we think this is referring to the
point where the man and woman are looking at each other up and down the stairs.
We fill sort out this confusion by shortening the sequence where they are
moving down the stairs and adding an extra shot of jack reaching the bottom of
the stairs and turning around.
The next issue that was pointed out was that the gaps with
no footage need to be filled. We know this and we are going to have to re-film
this missing footage as it has not transferred across to the editing software.
The tenth thing that was brought up was that it is unclear
why the man is climbing through the window. We will make this clearer by adding
a shot of the woman locking the door.
Another thing that was highlighted was that the start it
well polished but the quality falls away at the end. We will go back and
improve the ending by adding effects, colour corrections, improving the timings
and re-filming shaky shots.
Another thing that was pointed out was that some colour
corrections are needed. We will fix this by going back and adding these colour
collections.
It was also pointed out that it is not complete. The only
way this can be fixed is by completing it, so that’s what we will do.
It was also highlighted that we should have used a wider
variety of shots. We will be going out to re-film some shots and whilst we are
doing this we will film some additional shots.
The repetition could be confusing; this was another thing
that was pointed out to us. We will use a collection of effects to try and
distinguish different time periods to make the repetition less confusing.
It was also mentioned to us that we should use more, shorter
shots in our flashback sequence at the end. We will be going out to re-film
some shots and whilst we are doing this we will film some additional shots to
go into this sequence allowing the others to become shorter.
Another thing that was brought up was that the chorus was
too repetitive. We will be going out to re-film some shots and whilst we are
doing this we will film some additional shots in different locations to make
this less repetitive.
We also need to add in our names and candidate numbers at
the start. That is something that can be done easily so we shall do that.
The final thing that was mentioned was that some of the
tracking/handheld shots are wobbly. We will be going out to re-film these shots
to fix the problem.
