Glass Vase (No Flowers)
We decided to use a glass vase from a charity shop instead of lamp. There are multiple reasons for this:
We figured that the vase would be much easier to break than the lamp. This would therefore help the filming process run smoother.
The lamp would have been more expensive and possibly out of our planned budget.
Crème Sofa
We decided to use the crème sofa as we believed that the colour worked well to make it seem like part of the location; we though that a darker coloured sofa would not fit well and make the video seem unplanned.
Television
As the television was a relatively large part of our storyline, it was essential to have this in the same room as the sofa. Therefore, we used a flat screen Sony television as it was easily manoeuvrable so it allowed us to place it at the right point in the room to match our storyboard. It was also useful as it was not too large, making the framing slightly easier for us.
Remote Control
This was couple with the television and served only as a purpose for promoting the mise in our music video.
